40 years ago, when LSD was still available on the blackmarket in my town, there was a young man, about 18-20 years old, who was completely run down: He was absolute dirty, he stank, long dirty beard, collecting rest of piiza from the garbage cans, no friends, of course. Then i heard the roumor, that someone gave LSD to him, having mystical insights with watching falling raindrops,...§-4 years later, isaw exactly the same young man on a wedding, dressed as the groom, marrying a beautiful wife! Perfect socialisation, i wouldcall it.
Otherwise, at the same time, there was a guy who lived with others in an so called occupiedhouse. I knew him personally. He lived in an orphanage bevor. In these occupied houses, lots of drugs were consumed at that time, but he took the most of them, (so they called him "stoned Norbert"), in special LSD. . Though everyone knew him and liked him, he stayed for himself, working in a shop, selling keyboards.. He read a lot of this Carlos Castaneda stuff. One day, he jumped out of the window, afterwards telling others that he found out how to "fly". He crashed on the roof of a car and was dead. Euphoria on drugs ended at that time for a lot of people who knew him.

I´m wondering why this topic is so very much underrated in public. On my daily way to the discounter, i can see so many young victims suffering from alcohol and other harmful drugs.A close friend of mine has died by dependency of alcohol, and his life was a real way through hell, getting homeless for years, and many sanity problems. My father died by cirrhosis of the liver. Every time i see those young people, i ask myself, if they are already "lost", or if we could help them. After long year working with psychiatric people as a caretaker and after two divorces, not having a chance of contact to my children, i had times in my life i got depressive and the psychiatrist´s antidepressiva didn´t work on me. This is an experience that many depressive people get through. Most psychiatrist´s say that the effects of common antidepressiva need two weeks to show some effect, but even after 4 weeks, i felt like a dead robot, unable to do homework or anything else but staring and sweating. Changing the antidepressiva had the same results, so i turned to alcohol again, to bring some joy in my sad life,...(As i don´t have much money, i didn´t want to smoke weed all the time, i need to pay the rent not to get homeless). Why i´m telling this? Because there are articles that show that even scientist doesn´t know why these antidepressiva "work" . (not in my case,...). But i am surely not the only one. The articles about the doubtful use of antidepressiva from science magazin "Spektrum der Wissenschaft".:

This should be enough for a discussion basis when people argue about the risks of psychedelika and the difference of risk between psychedelica / antidepressiva...
